Couponing is a must in this house! I save HUNDREDS of dollars a year because I know how to coupon. I personally think that everyone should coupon. I do it because we have a large family and we really need to, but I feel that no matter what your financial situation is, you should coupon. I have taught classes and I have even written a book about couponing. (I am hoping to get it published!!)

This blog will not be a blog where I type up deals every week for people to try/copy. There are way too many really good websites already and I honestly don't have time. BUT I do want you to learn how to coupon if you don't already know how. I have a facebook page called Couponing Mama. On that page I have a few documents posted that give the basics of couponing. You can read through them and feel free to ask questions on that page if you don't understand something.

As I stated earlier, I did write a book about couponing. My book teaches the basics of couponing, but I also use scripture to back up my reasoning in why I feel everyone should coupon. The Bible has a lot to say about how we spend money and although a coupon may just look like a piece of paper to you, in all actuality it is money. When you go shopping and hand a cashier that little piece of paper, money comes off of your total. It is like you handed her money.....

A few things that I usually always get for free or for less than $1 include,

tooth brushes
tooth paste
floss
razors
shampoo
conditioner
body wash
deodorant
liquid soap
bars of soap
feminine products
shaving cream
hair spray/hair gel
contact solution
lotions
chapstick
dish soap
FREE

PLUS LOTS MORE!!

Think about it....... How much money would you save every year if your were not paying full price for any of these items??

Again, I think people who don't coupon are throwing their hard earned money away. Yes, it takes a little bit of time every week, but it is well worth it!!

As you can see just from some of these pictures, I have saved a LOT of money by using coupons. One question I hear often when it come to having a big family is, "How can you afford them?" Well, this is one of the ways that I am able to have a larger family and purchase what we need and have it not break the bank!

If you are interested in purchasing my book you can get in touch with me on Facebook or you can email me at bigblessedfamilyof8@gmail.com
